PhoneTab is a UK registered company specialising in the sale of refurbished mobile handsets and tablets.

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of goods directly from it. Please read these terms in full before you use this website. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this website. Your continued use of this website confirms your acceptance of these terms.

Application Field

The following Sales Terms and Conditions relate to the sale of goods obtainable through www.phonetab.eu on the date the order is placed.

The solicitation of said Terms and Conditions is activated the moment the order is placed. In the event that the terms of this agreement differ due to the manner in which the order was created, such a difference would be expressly and clearly stated.


These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Capacity to make agreements

As the acquisition of goods available on the PhoneTab website is not a commonplace act, so any Customer of PhoneTab declares that he/she has the capacity to contract the terms hereafter, i.e. he/she is emancipated or has legal majority and is not under the protection of any by-laws.

    Customer Acceptances

When the customer submits an order, he/she automatically accepts the present Terms and Conditions. Said Terms and Conditions are valid with the exclusion of any other terms, except by written agreement signed by the parties.

    Amendment to the Terms and Conditions of Sale

The present Terms and Conditions are subject to adjustments at any time. It should be stressed that the Customer reads them on a regular basis. Each version is specifically dated. Therefore, any orders placed by the customer are governed by the online Terms and Conditions in effect at the time at which orders are placed.


Whilst we do take all reasonable steps to make sure that the information on this website is up to date and accurate at all times we do not guarantee that all material is accurate and, or up to date.

All material contained on this website is provided without any or warranty of any kind. You use the material on this website at your own discretion.


Prices are displayed in UK Pounds (£) or Euro (€), with relevant taxes included.

PhoneTab’s prices are in constant flux, and are liable to change at any time; the prices shown are subject to adjustments at any time.

All prices are clearly disclosed provided there are no obvious typographical errors.

    Delivery fees

Delivery for orders placed in the UK (for delivery in the UK) and orders placed in the EU (for delivery to France, Belgium and Netherlands) is Free of Charge Should the customer want to return any products purchased from PhoneTab, a pre-paid postal envelope shall be sent to the customer via 1st class post. The customer when making a return must obtain proof of postage. PhoneTab accepts no responsibility for goods returned by any other means.

    Value Added Tax (VAT)

VAT is included with all sales concluded with residents of the UK and the European Union. If you require a VAT invoice, please email info@phonetab.eu.

    Placing an order

Placing an order through PhoneTab requires the customer to complete an online registration form including personal/payment details. PhoneTab urges customers to thoroughly proofread the information entered before validating his/her order. PhoneTab is neither responsible for sending e-mails to the wrong e-mail address nor for sending parcels to the wrong delivery address, should the form have been incorrectly filled-out.

    Order Confirmation

An automated order confirmation e-mail is sent to the Customer provided that the e-mail address does not contain any errors. A confirmation e-mail is also sent to confirm the creation of an account with PhoneTab and at the product dispatch stage.

    Order Cancellation

If an order has been placed through PhoneTab and the Customer then decides he/or she does not want the product the order can be cancelled via telephone (03333 207 577) or email (sales@Phonetab.co.uk). 

If the order has progressed past the ‘dispatch’ stage, the Customer will need to wait until the item has been received and then complete the return process that is covered by the product warranty. 

    Items Availability

While stocks last, our items are available and our prices are applicable as long as they are featured on our website.

Items Condition

PhoneTab Grading System

A Grade
The phone is used but in excellent condition.
Cosmetically the phone will show no signs of use, there will be no scratches, cracks or scuffs to the screen or casing.
It has been fully tested, is in full working order and has been restored to a relevant operating system.

B Grade
The phone is used and in good condition.
Cosmetically the phone will show signs of slight use, including two or three minor scratches to the screen and casing. It will not have cracks on the screen or casing.
It has been fully tested, is in full working order and has been restored to a relevant operating system.

C Grade
The phone is used and in average condition.
Cosmetically the phone will show signs of use, including some scratches and scuffs to the screen and casing. It will not have cracks on the screen or casing.
It has been fully tested, is in working order and has been restored to a relevant operating system.

Our testing includes standard checks of:

The life of a battery in a mobile device and its ability to hold a charge diminishes over time. Grade B and Grade C devices are sold with the battery that has previously been used in the device, and carries no warranty or guarantee.


Should the Customer pay by credit card, his/her card will be charged once the order is complete.

Governed by its own discretion PhoneTab reserves the right to decline an order.
Payment methods are as follows:

All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, thus Customers have a right, upon request and proof of identity, of access to the information held about them and have the right to have factually incorrect information corrected.

    Invoicing and Receipts

The order information form filled out online by the Customer can be considered as an invoice.
Regardless of the purchase or payment methods, the Customer receives a confirmation notification via e-mail of goods ordered. Within the PhoneTab product packaging there is included a product warranty form.


When a Customer orders through PhoneTab, providing the e-mail address is correct, he/she will receive an automatic dispatch information e-mail.

    Error on Invoice

Should any mistakes appear on the Customer's invoice, he/she must inform PhoneTab by telephone or e-mail that the received items do not comply in the expected nature, quality or quantity to what was ordered and invoiced.


PhoneTab will ensure that the product(s) is /are safely and securely packaged when dispatched.

PhoneTab is committed dispatching the product within 24 hours (1 working day) of an order being completed (excluding public holidays and weekends) UK orders are sent using PhoneTab approved couriers

Items are sent to the address entered on the order form by the customer. PhoneTab cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be amended after purchase.

    Customer absence on the delivery day

Depending on the circumstances and the carrier's policy, the Customer may find a note of passage i.e., "leftcard". If indeed the courier has left a note, the Customer will need to call the carrier in order to arrange a new delivery date. It also might occur that the Customer does not find a note. In this case, it is the Customer's responsibility to track his/her orders online, on the carrier's website, in order to receive information on it as soon as possible. 

    Late delivery

A parcel may not be delivered in the expected time allotment given by the carrier. If the delay extends too long, the Customer can contact PhoneTab in order to open an inquiry to establish the whereabouts of the parcel.

    Loss of the parcel

In order for PhoneTab to officially declare a parcel lost, the Customer has ten business days to declare the loss of a parcel starting from the date he or she received the dispatch confirmation e-mail.

If the parcel was declared as lost within the above-mentioned time, PhoneTab will attend to making a claim with the deliverer. PhoneTab may eventually require of the Customer additional documents to complete the claim process. In this situation the Customer will then need to send the information as soon as possible.

The final response related to claims is given by the carrier within a one to three-week period. 

    Reception of the parcel

When the items are delivered to the Customer, the carrier will require a signature from the customer as acknowledgement of receipt.

The Customer is encouraged to check the parcel methodically upon its arrival. If a parcel arrives damaged, the Customer's reservations must be written on the delivery note in the presence of the carrier.

Should no reservation be mentioned, the parcel is considered as delivered in good condition and no subsequent claims or complaints will be accepted by PhoneTab. 

Warranty and Returns

Items to be returned within 14 days of dispatch date.

Should the customer want to return any products purchased from PhoneTab, a pre-paid postal envelope shall be sent to the customer via 1st class post. The customer when making a return must obtain proof of postage. PhoneTab accepts no responsibility for goods returned by any other means.

    Returns Procedure and Conditions

An item is considered as a complete unit. Therefore, if the Customer is unsatisfied with one element of the package, he/she must return the whole package. PhoneTab reserves the right to return incomplete items to the Customer.

Prior to returning an order, the Customer must inform PhoneTab of his/her desire to do so. This is can be done via by phone or e-mail. 

    Packaging a Return

Choose a box commensurate with the items returned.

Wrap the elements up with suitable shockproof material. There must be a sufficient amount of protection around the elements so that they do not touch the inner surfaces or move inside the box.

    Faulty Products

If the goods develop a fault before the first 365 days following the data of dispatch, the Customer has a right to return the goods to us. If goods are returned within 14 days, the customer may request a replacement device or a full refund. If goods are returned after 14 days but within 365 days of the initial purchase, PhoneTab will replace the device, subject to conditions

If the Customer returns the goods to PhoneTab, he/she needs to consider:
- the time for the goods to reach us,
- the time for us to process the return,
- the time to return the goods to the Customer.

    Warranty and Return Conditions 

PhoneTab is confident any product purchased will reach the Customer in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that you experience any technical problems with your product, the item’s warranty covers internal, technical issues only. Physical damaged caused to the item after receipt by the Customer, is not covered by the product warranty (which is included with the purchased item’s packaging).

Examples of technical internal problems that are covered by PhoneTab’s warranty include issues with: Microphone, Camera, Wi-Fi, internal speaker etc.

The item must be returned in the sale condition and in its original packaging.

The item must be returned with all its accessories present, (data cables, and warranty form) should the item fail to meet these conditions, it will be returned to the Consumer, at his/her expense.

The Consumer must systematically state his order reference and his name and complete address if he/she wants his request to be processed efficiently. The warranty sheet included in the packaging will give the Customer the opportunity to state the reason for return of the item.

    Processing of Returns 

Once the parcel is received and accepted by PhoneTab, and depending on the nature of the item, the available stock and the Customer’s wishes, PhoneTab can offer the Customer the option of exchanging the original item for another one of equal value. If the Customer would prefer a  refund, this too can be stated on the warranty form included.

If the Consumer chooses to be refunded, and subject to the above mentioned conditions, a refund equal to the value of the store credit will be made within 30 days after the receipt of the item by PhoneTab.


Once the parcel is received and accepted by PhoneTab, and depending on the nature of the item, the available stock and the Consumer's wishes, PhoneTab will issue a replacement item or reimburse the Customer with a full refund.

The above policies are part of our commitment to high quality service. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

     Exclusion of liability

We do not accept liability for any loss or damage that you suffer as a result of using this website.

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence which cannot be excluded or under the law of the United Kingdom.

This privacy policy sets out how PhoneTab uses and protects any information that you give PhoneTab when you use this website.

PhoneTab is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

PhoneTab may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.
